Hello! I've been lurking here for a while, sorry I haven't posted before :)
I've just put out the first public demo of Cardinal Quest 2 to celebrate kicking off its crowdfunding campaign. It's a very streamlined roguelike - a coffee-break roguelike, if you will, with a completely graphical interface and a very immediate approach to inventory management. Game length is pitched at about an hour.

The campaign page (http://indiegogo.com/cardinalquest2/) has demo links for Windows, Mac and Linux, and there's a recent trailer on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=paJ3ABiympc) as well. Please have a look and tell me what you think :)

The original CQ was a quality game---definitely hoping this is successful given it takes everything up a notch or several higher. :)

WTF! Am I not on the mailing list! ;)
I'll be donating to this. I totally dug CC1.

I guess everybody is trying their luck with crowd funding. Who knows, it may work. I was surprised even when ADOM got all that money.

The mailshot will be going out soon :)
ADOM's campaign is definitely inspirational. Fundamentally though I'm running this as a preorder campaign and hoping the demo will pull people in. Fingers crossed!

Been playing the demo. It's a solid update to the game. I hope you reach your goal. Looks a bit slow starting right now for you. When I get a bit of money I'll throw some in.

EDIT: Playing some CQ1 right now, to compare. CQ2 plays A TON better. Better interface, seems a bit quicker, I like the gold/merchant system, the skills, just everything seems more solid. Bravo, and again, good luck.
