*Disclaimer* : I am not a part of this project, just a longtime player of Elona and longtime user of roguetemple that noticed a new release and figured someone should put it up here. I also did a web translation of the changes from the original game to post it as well.

Took a sec to get the right link.. you may have to click a couple pages. Chrome translate could be helpful. I'll try to get permission to host updates on an english server, but in the meantime, here you go.

A translation of the changes from Elona 1.22 to Elona Plus (1.22 is the last version before Noa quit production and released the source to the new team)

I would like to point out that the overworld map has vastly expanded, something that was always in the plans for Elona when Noa created it but never actually happened.

ITEM CHANGES

SKILL CHANGES

Thanks for posting - because of you I have learned about the game and I must say I am stunned by how good it is. Is there any place besides elona.wikia.com where information about the game is stored? Maybe some tricks and tips for beginners? So far I got killed numerous times by monsters and once by people displeased with my ability to play piano  :)

This is the homepage for Elona - NOT Elona Plus. The original game developer finally moved on and ceased development, sending his source code, notes, maps and whatnot to the new team he was allowing to take over.

However ElonaPlus is really just Elona getting fixes, updating systems, adding more content etc. So a lot of this stuff is going to be relevant. You can peruse the forums for tips, or ask for help. There is also an english wiki, not sure how extensive that is.

Be wary. Elona is a very weird game.. and the difficulty can spike like crazy.

Watch out for kobolds. Early game creature that can truly *F* your world up. They shield bash you, which causes an off-balanced status called *dimmed*. When you are Dimmed you basically take massive damage from everything because you're too out of it to avoid attacks properly etc. Something like that. Its dangerous either way. Dont let kobolds get close!

In a room full of creatures, if you are using magic spells or the F key to fire your ranged weapon, be advised that it autotargets the closest / closest enemy. If you're strong you can just hold down F or your spell shortcut and rapid fire/cast until everything is dead. But... if there are any non-hostile NPC's there you will end up hitting them to eventually. The * key on the numberpad is the default target selection key. Live and Die by it.  Nothing like going to sweep a room and accidentally shooting that Big Daddy that comes around the corner and having him gib you with his shotgun at close range.

Thats another thing, shotguns have an effective range for good damage of something like 2 squares, so stay 3 squares away at least. They are slow, its easy. Of course I could be off by a square, in which case you should stay 4 squares away.. heh.

Performer.. great way to make money and even items that get tossed at you.

But you have to watch out for the rocks. Some NPCs, especially some named ones like Loyter and He who walks in darkness (or whatever his name is) are EXTREMELY hard to please. Dont expect much great success / legendary success until you're like 20+ with performer, depending on your charisma. High speed is incredibly useful to make the performances finish faster and have less of a window to get killed by your audience.

Get as many pets as you can accomodate and go into your home. Play for your pets. No matter how bad you play, they will never kill you. The skill gains will be slow, but enough. Once you get maybe 6 or 7 skill, you can attempt playing in towns around low level NPC's but its still easy to die from them. And if high level NPCs.. guards.. named.. shopkeepers.. you name it.. happen to wander by. you die.

I would suggest getting to about 10 or so (with as much charisma as you can manage and any charisma and +perform skill equipment.

Then start doing easy "Party Time" quests.

They are not really 'easy'. You will die, a lot. You must learn which of the NPC's  you have the skill to play around in these party rooms and keep the ones that are dangerous out of your line of sight (they cant hear you then). As you get better you can play for the harder ones and/or position yourself with more NPCs in your sight to make more money off each performance. If rested, depending on speed, most characters can play 2-3 times in a party time if fully rested, not encumbered, and not murdered by the audience!


The more people listening the more your skill increases.. but only if you FINISH the performance without interuption. So it takes a while. Palmia typically has the most party time quests. As said before, you will die a lot.. but it is OKAY..

Here is why.

If you want to risk playing at low skill in the open world, go right ahead, but be aware of this. If you die in the regular world, the full death penalty (once high enough for it to apply).. will hit you. That means you can randomly lose items including equipment and take irreversible damage to your stats. Sure, you can gain your stats back by training them as usual, but it will slow you down. If you are practicing performer in these situations chances are you will be able to die in a rapid fire manner and soon find your stats so low your entire character is useless. Not to mention losing charisma (and speed due to strength loss causing you to be too weak to carry your stuff) is a self fulfilling prophecy of death as you become even less likely to succeed.

If you die in a quest world such as party time... there is no penalty. The quest simply ends.

I gave it a try, but the keyboard controls are a bit broken on my laptop - I have to press shift to make the numpad work (my laptop has a numpad, but no numlock), and the shift key backs out of menus... I've tried this with auto-numlock both on and off.
Unfortunately I don't have any spare usb keyboards floating around.

I just found that Elona+ version 1.12 was released sometime in November ( http://wikiwiki.jp/elonaplus/ ). Feeling curious about whether there was a way to fix the non-functioning numpad, I went into the config.txt file and found that replacing

I think that is for the old Elona. Not ElonaPlus. At least that was the impression I got since the version numbers didn't seem to match up.

Interesting game. The soundtrack is nice and the gameplay is pretty interesting.

Would be nice to have better information of the character creation aspects though. Most the starting selections I just picked based on how they sounded since I didn't know what they did exactly.

I like how it can be played with a gamepad, but it copuld use some work. Especially in the tutorial where it still refers to keyboard keys instead of the gamepad buttons.

Inventory was a little confusing to navigate. Otherwise, I like the rest of the interface.

Too bad all the "class" descriptions are not translated. I can guess what a gunner class is, but no real idea what Predator class is.

In the original Elona, Gunner and Predator are normally NPC-only classes, and thus are not properly balanced for player use, AFAIK.  Why they made them playable in ElonaPlus is beyond me, but on the bright side, most of a class' features aren't exclusive.

Well, here's what's went down from v1.17 on back to v1.10

2/16/2013: Version 1.15 is now out. From the devs, "Merry St Valentine's Day" 1) Stamina counter has been added.

2) Area 3 is under intensive development; but, no story access yet.

3) Added new skill based on firearms (100% hit rate).

4) Improved deflecting attacks with shields. Tonfa weapons are no longer shields.

5) Added three new pet evolutions. Evolution for Golden Knight servant improved.

6) Added randomly generated walnut for cooking (not just api nut anymoe)

7) AP skills added and revised. Breath and humorous skills modified. Non-elemental breath skill can reduce enemy magic. Bloodsuck skill improved. Stamina use increased.

8) Testing enchantment feature for non-unique artifacts. May be removed in the future.

9) Holy Veil and Prayer of Jua now have regeneration effect. Cheer skill stamina cost reverted and removed heal effect. Replaced boost and immediate heals for regeneration over time.

10) New item called the Coffin of Darkness can be used to summon up to 10 undead at a time. Unleash in the middle of a town for brainz!

11) Valentines Day event in February (in-game of course) where you can use a homemade chocolate kit to create homemade chocolate. Give as a gift to improve NPC attraction. Or you can eat it for yourself.

12) Fourteen new creatures.


2/5/2013: Elona+ 1.14 is a minor update adding a few items.

1) The third arc is introduced after beating the final boss in Remido (South Tyris main dungeon). An introduction by the the advisor in Palmia (the one who gives quests for North Tyris main dungeon) requires you to travel far east from Noyel to Mayroon. If this project continues, expect the Great Glacier and Mayroon to be the third part of the of the main storyline (

2) If you die in an area (North Tyris, South Tyris) without a home, you will be returned to the nearest town.

3) A pet evolution tree was added.

4) Warmage gets +3 initial Tactics skill.

5) The following game mechanics have been revised:  i) character sheet, ii) initial attribute resistances by NPCs, iii) equation calculating attribute damage, and iv) grenades have been nerfed.


9/11/2012: Elona+ 1.10 has been released. Check the wikiwiki page above, the download link is on the front page. Back up your save folder before migrating to make sure your saves will be safe, This is supposed to be the final version of the South Tyris expansion. The development of the expansion will continue, with a new continent added. However, it will take a long time to complete.

Looking over the changes, here are a few differences in 1.10:

    PCC files seem to have a seperate folder now
    Coffin of necromancy displays level in the name of the monster(?)
    New monsters, evolutions, items, and skills
        Fox brother and wisp (not known is this is normal or demon's soul) evolutions added
        New monsters: mishaguzi and ek chuah (latter's sprite may be bugged, need confirmation)
        Sugaar has the mishaguzi sprite tinted yellow, heqet has a new unique sprite
        <Danger Swimwear> and <War Suit> artifacts added (unique sprites). These can be bought from Gavela "after a certain point in the game". Not sure when. To get one, it appears you have to give up your Awesome Swimwear. The options that appear when you talk to him are 30 pp for the war suit, and 20 pp for the swimwear, in that order. There is a 3rd option and the "goodbye" option when the menu appears, but it doesn't seem to do anything. If you have the swimsuit equipped when you choose, it will not disappear until you unequip it, which is obviously a bug. The options might only appear if you have enough platinum? It might be possible to get another awesome swimsuit from the Strange Scientist to get the other artifact.
        Special actions: Megid Flame (elemental scar on visible enemies and removes their buffs) and Absolute protect (user takes damage instead of allies, might replace provoke on the defender?).
        There is another learnable ability called Shining Wave, which is strength based and costs 20 SP. I do not know the requirements for it. It does a fairly significant amount of ranged magic damage to a target. It also has a new animation.
    Wizard harvest has been nerfed, with wish rods not showing up, or maybe showing up less often. Coins and medals might also drop less often, and gold gains seem to cap at 800 per pile. However, it now has a chance to create ancient books and treasure maps.
    Potions of potential effect is reduced from the huge boost in 1.09.
    With card decks, the domains have been removed and the cards are now divided by number.
    Blessed and cursed age lunches now act differently from normal ones.
    Material kits might be generated randomly in dungeons now.
    If you gain more AP from a kill, the AP notification is blue?
    Cost of doujou function have changed. It costs 10k to leave a pet, and something around 30k per pet per training, but with reduced effectiveness. I can't check the training thing yet since the doujou I had to use is bugged.
    Cost of running a "store" reduced. (Not sure if this is just for a shop, or building maint costs overall)
    Some additional (very bad) english added to some NPCs.
    Some kind of change to flying scrolls. Not sure if this is weight/PV or damage/accuracy.
    Quests have most of their names fixed now, so they have unique ones.
    Quickling corpse speed boost increased?

        You can set custom flavor text for this skill by editing the txtSpecial file.
        You can only use this skill with an HP no less than 6/7.
        If your opponent is wielding a weapon on their main hand, the special skill can be rendered invalid based on their greater evasion.
        Even if it wasn't blocked by greater evasion, it still helps on lowering its damage.
        Furthermore, even if it's in the same weapon category the invoked special skill will sometimes be different, but it's power and effect is still based on its original category. (For example, short swords and kitchen knives will use the short sword special skill, while ninja swords and pirate swords will use the long sword special skill. Even though they use different special skills, their power is still dependant on the short sword skill)
        In relation with the update above (special weapon skills), fighter type NPCs' starting weapons will now be fixed. (Like minotaurs always spawning with heavy axes fit for two hand wielding, etc.)
    Shield bash damage increased by a fair amount.
        However, if your opponent is wielding a shield as well, the power of your shield bash will be lowered depending on their shield skill and greater evasion.
        Its additional effect (dim?) can't be blocked.
        Also, shield bashes can now only be used if your HP is no less than 6/7.
    Tonfas activate a different skill now.
    You can now set custom phrases for your PC now.
    Forbidden meat effect changed.
        If blessed, it'll change the consumer's gender to male or female.
        Normal ones will change the consumer's gender into a would-be male or would-be female.
        If cursed, it'll change the consumer's gender to a hermaphrodite or remove its gender.
    Since the unique NPCs on the third continent are pretty weak, several of them will now be generating precious artifacts.
    If your natural resistance on an element is now at 200 (normal resistance), food that increases/decreases your resistances will now produce no effect. For reference, No Resist is a score of 100 resistance.
    NPC magic resistance will now increase depending on their level. The starting value for their magic resistance is at 100 and caps at 200 (its increase will start at lv51 and ends at lv300).
    You can now prevent your pets from casting magic and using skills you don't want them to by exchanging 20AP to Leold.

    [Fixes]

    Fixed a bug where the sex-changed NPC doesn't show the right indicator on their conversation screen.
    Fixed Mani's god gems description to show that its attack is of electric element.

            The latter will now use the throwing skill for its hit and damage increase. It'll also have limited range and will have no chance to proc their respective special skills.
            An unarmed or a character with no hands at all can now block melee weapon special attacks by equipping a melee weapon on their ranged slot. If a unit is already wearing a melee weapon on one of their hands, that one will take precedence.
            Equipping a shield on your ranged slot will not grant PV bonuses granted by shields along with being unable to block shield bash.
            You now have the option to choose what slot a weapon will go to when it comes to pets. If a pet's hand slots are already full, the next melee weapon you give to it will be sent to its ranged weapon slot.
        Walking on deserts will now have a high chance of causing confusion. Also, if the sun's still up, it'll drain your stamina greatly as well.
        If your backpack has available space on it, the item you chose for fusion will now be separated from its stack.
        You can now turn raw ores into jewels via pot of fusion.
        The power of melee special skills has been adjusted. Also, it will not be random and can only be used when you're HP is not less than 6/7 anymore. Instead, you will now have a gauge below your HP bar. If the gauge reaches 100%, you will automatically trigger your special skill on your next attack.
            The gauge will automatically lose its charge by 1% every turn and will be completely drained if you switched maps.
            Doing physical attacks will charge the gauge by 2%.
            Taking damage from enemies (even if it's 0 damage or the attack was evaded) will charge your gauge by 1%.
            Whether you are on the attacking side or receiving side, you will only receive the charge after everyone's turn ends. Therefore, continously attacking enemies will not result in a faster rate of increasing your gauge charge.
            When you beat a character, the same type of character around the attacker and ones you have hostile relations with will receive a 5% charge to their gauge.
            When a character dies, the same type of character around the one who died and ones that it has hostile relations with will receive a 10% charge to their gauge.
            However, this will only happen if the attacker and the one who died are in a hostile relationship.
            We plan on balancing this on future updates. (ed: haha)
        The shield bash feat has been changed to add additional effects to shield bash.
        Hugging skill added.
            If your impress level with the one you've hugged is not less than 100, when their HP decreases, you'll be transfering 1/10 of your life to heal them. Furthermore, if your impress level is not less than 200, custom flavor text (txtHug) will be used when you hug them. Displays the effect when snapping out of brainwash.
            If your impress level with the one you've hugged is below a 100, the NPC you've hugged will be crushed and take damage depending on your strength. In other words, it is possible to kill enemies by hugging them, final boss or not.
        The equipment that NPCs randomly generate on spawn are kinda weak, so they'll be spawning with upgraded equipment depending on their level now. (Lightsabers and precious artifacts excluded)
            As a rough estimate, at level 30 NPCs will be spawning with +1 equipment while level 300 ones will spawn with +10 ones.
        Scrolls of flying won't affect the stats of the item you used it on aside from its weight now.
        An attacker's weapon that weighs 2x (As for martial arts, its weight depends on its level. 40:1) its original weight will now deal 1-3x critical damage. If the defender's total equipment weight is not less than 15s, the critical damage done to them will be reduced depending on it.
        Overall rate for criticals lowered. Effect of critical enchants, mind's eye skill, perception and the predator passive increased by two times.
        Evasion you get from DV increased by two-fold, evasion gained through perception halved.
        Experience you get from traveling decreased slightly. Traveling for a short distance will now give out small experience, while long-distance traveling will stay as is.
        The command flag can now order pets to 'intercept/counter attack'. This command will make your pets intercept enemy attacks at a certain range between you and them (somewhere around Cheer range). And they will not pursue anything else outside that.
            Even if they went out of range, going back to their positions will be their priority. If ever a monster tries to block them on their way back, they will try and eliminate the one blocking them.

    Fixes:

        Fixed the description of some items.
        Fixed staves special skill doing the wrong damage.
        Fixed the behavior priority of melee and ranged frequency increase gained through AP.
        Fixed a bug on gender-related evolution.
            Females, would-be females and hermaphrodites will now evolve into female ones.
            Males, would-be males and genderless ones will now evolve into male ones.

They really seem to be hitting a stride of updates!

        This may be related to the Cradle of Chaos as well, which was added in the same patch, since it is not mentioned elsewhere in the patch notes. The stairs on the 3rd floor are locked and require an item to proceed.
    Added a Return destination option for the third area (Ulm-Leson in Lost Irva).
    Increased the distance needed to travel to raise the traveling skill
        On the other hand, the amount of experience you gain per distance was increased
    The quantity of goods a bakery sells now increases at higher shop rank.
    (I'm not sure what this is about, something to do with spell reading fail summoning monsters and monsters coming out of the well. I believe the last part mentions a summoning bit and perhaps monsters disappearing after days pass?)
    When an NPC with the Pickpocket skill kills an enemy, they receive a portion of the opponent's money (max of 2000gp). The skill is also raised from this action. This is to give meaning to NPCs having the Pickpocket skill.

    Compatibility for using {npc} and {nptc} replacement tags in Custom Tone was restored (?)
    Added Crimberry. They can generally be found in the wild, but cannot be cooked. When eaten, they slightly increase your Sanity level.
        Along with this, a recipe was added to the Pot of Fusion for Crim Ale that requires 10 Crimberries. Narcotics manufacturing pending.

    Thieves now do a guaranteed critical hit when attacking an enemy that hasn't noticed them. This may have replaced their class feat(?).

    A new item called the soul spindle that can be created with tailoring will allow you to pass a pet along to an heir.
    You need a relationship of soulmate or higher and the pet will take a big hit to stats/skills/AP when it is inherited, including the loss of it's equipment (Additionally, "capacity", so possibly this means limbs). The pet the item is used on does not get penalized.
    Use the spindle on the pet.
    A soul spindle of (pet name) will appear on the ground. You can pass to your heir by keeping it in your inventory when you make a gene file.
    Go to the Showroom.
    Bring up the menu and press F8, you do not need an internet connection.
    Bring the spindle that appeared back to the showroom to get your pet back.

    Using the Tamer's whip will bring up a menu now rather than just toggling a pet's status. You can individually set whether they will pick up things on the ground, or if they will eat things on the ground.
        Handing over the whip apparently has something to do with the (new?) custom tone section txtDiscipline2 (or txtInsult2 whichever replaced the first one). Additionally, the wooden horse has some effect when combined with the whip as well, but it's not decipherable.

    The Squeeze ability allows "forced sleep sharing" (rape).
        The ability must be used when sleepy, and above a bed on the ground. The bed must be a King, double, or happy bed.
        The degree of success depends on your relationship with the character. Under soul-mate causes a big (-20) karma hit.
        No actual positive effect of this is noticeable.
        The sleep will be "so-so", and will not allow for potential gain.

    Notation fixed in several places.
    Prevented the blunt special skill from being invoked when shooting a Crossbow.
    Pets will automatically switch to offensive mode when entered in the pet arena.
    Ranged pets in the arena will attack even if the enemy is not at optimum range, preventing running in circles endlessly.
    (Google translate says: Fixed damage is not out in robbery events during sleep.. However, this may have something to do with a nighttime ambush of robbers that are your level. Needs some checking because this wasn't in the previous patch)
    Fixed gauge from becoming 0 when attacking with a sickle at 100 percent gauge.
    Prevented fishing in the lava map tiles.

    Extermination Breath
        Is basically Variable Breath, but does additional fixed damage depending on Control Magic skill, and affects a much, much larger area. It's still a breath attack though, so Charge Attack and equipment attributes that enhance breath attacks will affect it. Learned by the player during level up if the fire-breathing feat has been acquired, Constitution is 80 or above, and Control Magic is 40 or above.

    Sorcier practice [Attack spells] (NB: sic) - gives experience to dart- and bolt-type attack spells.
    Warlock practice [Advanced attack spells] - gives experience to ball-type attack spells and to Meteor.
    Enchanter practice [Buff spells] - gives experience to buff and debuff spells.
    Healer practice [Healing spells] - gives experience to healing, resurrection, and uncurse spells.
    Shaman practice [Special spells] - gives experience to spells related to nature and to the divine, like summoning spells, spells with tile-lingering effects, Oracle, and Domination.
    Mage practice [Detection spells] - gives experience to spells related to movement and knowledge of the surroundings, such as teleport and revealing spells.
        NB: The descriptions in the [brackets] are present in the Japanese language version, but not in English.
        I've tried to have an equal number of spells in each category and to make each category make sense. Course titles are more or less flavour text for role-playing purposes. Cost depends on the level of the spells in that category with a lower limit of 5 and upper limit of 15.
        This is to make it easier to become a spell-caster in early game, as well as to alleviate the problem where spell levels don't increase unless the player spams them.
        The amount of spell experience given is fixed, so it's best to attend the practice with high potential in as many spells in that category as you can.
        There is no chance of bonus experience from Learning attribute. Of course, if you don't know the spell, then it won't have any effect.
        I considered a system where spells are leveled using an item that is randomly generated in dungeons, but that meant that physical-attack classes would master spells at the same rate as mages. That lead to the creation of this system, where spells basically compete with combat skills in resources. The cost of practices and the amount of experience given is subject to balancing.

[Additional main quest content]

    Mid-boss battle on F25 of Cradle of Chaos. There will be a lot of regular monsters (with the Cradle's level boost). On top of that, if the <Lankata> listed below is alive, enemies map-wide will occasionally be buffed by Cheer and those with gauge below 50% will gain 10% gauge. This should make it pretty difficult, but you don't really have to defeat the enemies. The staircase is unlocked, so you can just make a beeline for F26 without killing anything. If you defeat <Lankata> here, he will be marked as defeated, and that will change the events that occur in the future. (That said, it won't affect what items you'll get or anything like that.) When defeated, the zanan enhanced soldier and lothrian agent listed below will be placed in Amur-Cage. There will be a cutscene on F26. F27 is inaccessible for now.

[New equipment attribute]

    It enchances your throwing rock.
        Staves may come with this attribute. Equipping multiple of these will have no additional effect.
        Each of the distance multipliers gets +05 to it, and when attacking, the pierce will increase to 70%.
        When an attack affected by this attribute lands, it will have a dull sound effect.
        Stones were weak, had no additional effects, and you had to go through a lot of trouble just to change their material, so this is a buff just for it.
        The drawback is that the attribute appears only on melee weapons. This does not affect the power of rocks thrown at a poor performer.
        As for why staves, one explanation is that you can use the long staff as a bat, the whip as a slingshot, or the staff as a slingstaff/lacrosse stick to fling rocks at enemies.
        It should be fairly reasonable, because in real-life history, slings were a rather formidable weapon capable of inflicting lethal injuries against armored opponents, and had a longer effective distance than bows. It is not a joke weapon.
        Feel free to use it to roleplay a shepherd, or change the sprite and roleplay some ball sport.

        The effect wears off from everyone after sleep (it is unaffected by the sleep status effect).
        While it is in effect, it won't return to your attribute's element.

[Adjustment to NPC adventurers' starting level, fame, and hiring fee]

    Limited starting level to 250. Made the increase in hiring fee less steep, and capped at 99999 gp.
    Made it easier to meet them and reduced the number of times you have to hire them.

[Expansion of werewolf voting system]

    The number of votes are slightly random, but more votes will go to NPCs that you have determined to be a werewolf via conversation or that are currently hostile.
    If there are no NPCs that are alive and have at least 1 vote, the execution will not take place.
    Executions will do 44444 damage, so it is possible for an NPC to survive it.
    This is different from the executions that were in game in that your fame will not rise, but items will drop.
    If there are no werewolf attacks, then voting will not occur.
    So if you are after NPC drops, then you may want play such that no harm comes to the werewolves.
    When it is time to vote, you can buy the revival of right to vote with authority points.
        This is under the "Policy implementation" option in town management.

[Feat changes and new special abilities]

    Uncontrollable power
        Replaces the arm-wresting feats. Gives the special action Uncontroll.
        I probably don't need to explain this, but how this works is that if you don't already have the buff when using Uncontroll, you will gain the buff and a status effect.
        If you already have the buff, it will use either Shadow Step and Swarm depending on your distance to the enemy.
        It uses more SP than those actions by themselves, but Fury+Swarm would be ridiculous in early-game.

    Jiu-jitsu
        Replaces the martial arts feats. Gives the special action Vindalian Jiu-jitsu.
        When used, Vindalian Jiu-jitsu switches you between Jiu-jitsu and normal mode.
        In Jiu-jitsu mode, the text for martial arts usage will be changed to throws, and the enemy's defense will use depend on their DV and Light Armor skill.
        The effect of Squeeze will change. Damage will depend on Dexterity and the Martial Arts skill, and will also Bind the enemy for 1 extra turn, but the user will also be under the effect of Bind for 1 turn.
        There's more to martial arts roleplaying than physical blows.
        Characters that will now use Vindalian Jiu-jitsu:
            <Mary> the insect master
            ultimate golem
            <Arma> the tour guide
        The above NPCs have a chance to switch to Jiu-jitsu mode if the enemy's PV is higher than the DV by 100.
        If the enemy's DV>PV by 100, then there is a chance that these NPCs will disable Jiu-jitsu mode.

    Sexy Dance
        Replaces the sexy feats. Gives (W)ide special action Fascination Dance.
        Fascination Dance causes 4 turns to pass, after which the user's Charisma will be rolled against the Will of each enemy in sight.
        It will not work against blinded, sleeping, and unconscious characters, undead summoned via necromancy, and bored characters.
        If the roll succeeds, it inflicts 1 turn of paralysis.
        This is the AOE and vulnerable version of Bewitch that also prevents the enemy's gauge from increasing.
        If used during Party Time!, it will take 2/3 of the number of turns performing takes, and award you with more points than performing, but you will receive less money and no items.

    Damage of MP Breath special action is now reduced by magic resistance. It no longer costs gauge, and the MP cost has been halved.
    The chance that breath attacks causes a status ailment was a fixed low value (while the chance for spells to cause one is not fixed and has no upper limit), so this chance will now increase with the user's Constitution and resistance [towards the breath's element]. (It's still lower than for spells and has an upper limit though.)
    Pets in defence mode that have been handed a rod will no longer zap them. (Both attack and support type rods.)
    Big Daddies will now drop their Little Sisters when defeated by your summoned undead.
    Looked over the starting parameters of towns. (Only those on the City Chart.) Most of the parameters have been unchanged. Being able to manage towns will come sometime in the future.
    You will now get praise/authority points for successfully completing quests in a town, and the number of points awarded depends on the quest difficulty. (For escort and delivery quests, points are awarded for the destination town.) When you have 2000 points or more, talking to the town elder will let you manage the town in his stead. That's all that there is for now. For Melugas, you have to clear a sub quest as well in order to do that.
    Carpentry skill has been renamed as Crafting because the latter does not have as narrow a definition as the former. (NB: Name remains unchanged in English version.)

[Fixes]

    Fixed being unable to switch between putting in and taking out items of 4-Dimensional Pocket if used after giving gifts, tokens of friendship, and chocolate. These items can also now be handed over one after another.
    Fixed Shadow Step not registering as an attack when used by the player against a character with the same character ID number as the quest giver (even when on a different map as the quest giver), if the player teleports towards the quest giver with the quest board. This persisted until the game was closed once.
    Fixed Clash Rush special action deducting HP penalty for usage from the wrong characters.
    Money received for clearing a random dungeon no longer overflows.

[New spells]

    Water Bolt
        Bolt spell without an element. Has a spellbook. Damage + wet status. Clears map effects within its area of effect.
        <Abyss Princess> now uses this spell instead of Crystal Spear.
    Bubble Storm
        Ball spell without an element. Has a corresponding stave (which cannot be crafted). Damage + wet status. Clears map effects within its area of effect.
        Basatan now uses this spell instead of Ice Ball.

[New (W)ide special actions]

    Silent Ocean
        Converts a large area of tiles (up to but not including ID 350) into water panels. Clears map effects within its area of effect.
        Characters within its area of effect will also be inflicted with Mist of Silence with a set spell power. Characters not floating or under the effects of Gravity will be inflicted with Wet status.

    Dimensional Fishing
        Prerequisite: Level up with 30 or more Fishing skill.
        Draws a hostile enemy on the map to you, and gives Fishing experience.
        Requires neither fishing rod nor bait. It will work even if you are surrounded by walls.
        The order in which NPCs will be drawn towards you is set, and will not change even if you load a save.
        As long as the NPC who has been drawn to you with Dimensional Fishing is still alive, the next NPC may not be drawn.
        This is basically Draw Shadow that ignores your range of sight, so it will fail if the target cannot teleport.
        Useful for killing the targets one at a time, or when you can't find the enemy during a hunting quest.

[New items]

    atomic launcher
        Aim it at the cell you want to fire it into and use it. Its power depends on Marksman, Carpentry, and Disarm Trap skill levels.
        It ignores defense, but if the three skills above are at low level, it won't be any better than a nuke.
        This will be considered an attack, so it will cause karma loss and Barrier feat activation.
        It is not affected by Magic Control, but shooting it at the very limit of its range (which is out of sight) will prevent the user from taking damage.
        It will not cause the karma loss that is intrinsic to nuke usage, and will not count towards completion of Noel's quest, but it will count towards the nuke counter in the journal.
        Unlike the Cat's Cradle (the regular nuke), it will also destroy all wall tiles within its area of effect. Good for when you need breathing space.
        Is not generated randomly. The only way to obtain it is through item fusion.

    M202 special
        Aim it at the cell you want to fire it into and use it. Its power depends on Marksman, Constitution, and fire resistance.
        It sets a larger area on fire than the Fire Wall spell, and the fires will last longer.
        The user will not be damaged by it. After the damage calculation, the target is afflicted by a short duration of Element Scar.
        You can put it to good use when hunting undead or as a debuffing tool... or you could go nuts with it and burn everything down. Like Fire Wall, it will not be affected by magatama.
        Generated rarely.

    Panzerfaust X
        If no target is selected, it will select one automatically and fire.
        Single-target damage that depends on Marksman and Perception.
        The target's PV will be lowered for 3 of the target's turns, and recover by 100 per turn.

    <Sasanqua Sickle>
        Precious chain sickle.
        The Kunoichi below will carry it.

[New special ability]

    Bound in Blood
        Allies that are of the same race as the user will experience the effects listed below. The user will bleed severely.
        Gives Speed, Hero, and Attribution Shield depending on the Will of the target. Has less of an effect on the player.
        If gauge is less than 50%, then increase it by at most 30% depending on the target's gauge.

    MP Breath
        Use 25% gauge and 50% of current MP. Will not activate if MP is less than 50% of maximum MP.
        The effect will be colored with the color of the element that the user has the highest resistance against, but the breath itself is of magic element.
        It has the same power as Power Breath, but adds the value of the expended MP to the damage.
        It is unaffected by the enchant that enhances breath attacks or by Charge Attack.
        It destroys walls and floor tiles in its area of effect. (The attack will pierce walls.)
        Player learns this upon level up if the Fire Breath feat has been learned and unbuffed Constitution and Magic are 60 or greater.

    Blade Turbulence

        Lulwy (outer, inner) will now use this.
    Death Song
        Everyone within sight will be inflicted with Death Word, dependent on the user's Magic, and resisted with the targets' sound resistance. Characters already inflicted with Death Word are exempt.
        The user will not roll for resist, and will thus be afflicted by Death Word.
    Homing Lazer
        Magic damage to all enemies in sight, dependent on Marksman and Perception.
        Damage is split amongst all enemies, so amount of damage will depend on the number of enemies.
        <Mobile Communication Equipment> will now use this.
        It's to give it that gun*** feel to it. You know, like funnel missiles, multi-round missile launch systems, homing lasers...?
    The above three are (W)ide special abilities.
    Clash Rush
        Shadow Step, with 100% critical rate and 100% pierce. 50% of the damage dealt is then deducted from the user's HP. The user will not die even if brings the user's health into the negative. If gauge is less than 25%, it will just be a Shadow Step.

    Ammos can no longer be stolen while equipped. Ammos that are not equipped can be stolen.
    The range of danger levels of random Nefia (dungeons) that get generated during a diastrophism caused by the statue of Opatos is now different from the range of Nefia that get generated naturally.
    Greatly increased the amount of gold pieces given by the statue of Yacatect. That amount will also slightly increase if you worship Yacatect and the amount increased depends on your favour with her. The drop rates of platinum pieces and small medals remains the same.
    Spots that used to have a random Nefia will eventually have a new Nefia on them instead of remaining empty forever. (This does not affect existing dungeons.)
    Breakfast and Handmade gifts events now have an equal chance of picking any pet out of all your pets. However, pets that do not have the required skill will not get chosen.
    Added an item that will prevent a pet getting picked to serve you breakfast or give you a handmade gift in the morning. It is a randomly generated item, but if you update to this version ten of them will get placed at your feet so that you can try them out.
    Added a special action that allows you to work with your pets to break a lock on a container. You can use this when you're alone too.
    If a pet is in a tag team and sells ore items, half of the proceeds will now be given to the partner.

        Rods were hard to use as a main weapon due to their reliance on charges, and this is to fix that.

    Lock Break
        Learned during level up when Lock Picking is 60 or more.
        Works on chests, gamble chests, and safes.
        Use half of the sum of the Strength and Lockpicking of all allies (including the player) within sight to attempt to open the chest. skeleton key does not increase chance of success.
        When the lock is successfully opened, there will be one less item in the chest or the safe.

[New evolution]

    lizard man and lizard mage evolve with king heart to lizard majesty and learn Shadow rush.

[Changes to statue of Opatos]

    In previous versions, diastrophisms on a continent did not overwrite all random dungeons on it.
    statue of Opatos will now rewrite all dungeons, even the ones that have been entered but have yet to be cleared. 1/4 of the value of the deepest dungeon cleared will be used for generating dungeons, and the regional multiplier will be 2, so dungeon levels should not be in the extremes as much now.

    Placed the below mentioned Alfred on F34. Generates with half health and is Unconscious by default. If Lankata was killed, he will automatically recover from unconsciousness and you can talk to him. Otherwise, you will have to bash him to talk to him. You will be able to progress in the main quest even if you ignore him.
        The main quest branches are as follows:
            If you talk to Alfred with Lankata killed -> Alfred will be placed in Amur-Cage after the conversation.
            If you talk to Alfred without killing Lankata and without killing all 4 of the undead bosses -> Alfred will be placed in Amur-Cage after the conversation. Lankata will be moved from F25 to F34 if not dead, and will naturally resurrect with time on F34 when killed.

While active, affected targets will not activate traps, nor step into puddles, nor fall into wells even though they are afflicted by Gravity. Physical damage dealt is increased by 10%, and physical damage received is reduced by 5%.
        Speed increases with the number of turns of Gravity status ailment, capped at 1/2 of the target's original speed or 300, whichever is lower.
        While the buff is active, the "you generate gravity" ether disease symptom is negated.
        Gravity status ailment from Gravity special action lasts for +50 to 99 turns which is longer, so you may find Gravity Accel better when used in conjunction with the [Gravity special action].
        In essence, this reduces the negative effects of Gravity on allies and also applies positive effects to it.
        Gravity status ailment will still completely negate Greater Evasion though.

    Giga Gravitation
        Applies +30 turns of Gravity status ailment to all enemies in visual range and +1 turn of Bind.
        Deals magic-element damage dependent on the user's Constitution and Magic Capacity skill level.
        Damage is multiplied by 1.5x if the target's Gravity status ailment has 50-99 turns remaining.
        Damage is multiplied by 2x if the target's Gravity status ailment has 100-149 turns remaining.
        Damage is multiplied by 2.5x if the target's Gravity status ailment has 150-199 turns remaining.
        Damage is multiplied by 3x if the target's Gravity status ailment has 200 or more turns remaining.
        This special action is a lot more powerful when used in conjunction with the Gravity special action.
        Gives Magic Capacity experience after using.

    Hyper Dash
        Learned during level up if Riding skill is 80 or above.
        Nothing happens if used while not riding/being ridden.
        Effect is applied to the player if used by the steed the player is riding, or if used by the pet riding the player.
        If used by the player when the player is not riding, the below mentioned effects do not occur.
        The character controlling movement (or the tag partner of an NPC) will be able to displace enemies from their tile with this buff.
        When the player is under the effect of this buff, a melee attack will not occur when moving in the direction of an enemy and the enemy will get displaced.
        Shadow Step and Distance Attack can still be used. Select the appropriate option from the 'i'nteract menu to use melee attacks.
        Be aware that NPCs will not attempt to push away an enemy standing between them and their target.
        Inflicts 1 turn of Wince. Damage is reduced by the average of the target's PV + DV + Dexterity.
        The character controlling movement will gain Riding skill experience. (Also given to the player's steed/rider, and to tag partners of NPCs.)
        This is basically a hit-and-run attack.
        Divine cattle and unicorn NPCs from evolution will now have this special action.

[New gauge attack]

    Graviton Buster
        Activated by Gravity Sphere. Destroys wall and floor tiles in a breath area of effect.
        Targets will gain +50 turns of Gravity status ailment and a Slow debuff that is stronger than that of Gravity Sphere. Damage is not reduced by Feather.
        Power depends on the average of the user's Constitution and the floor number (max of 2000).

    I've always felt that Confused and Dim are too similar in terms of their effects, and there are also several ways of applying Dim to targets that are immune to it. Thus, to make the distinction between them greater, Confused now causes only spellcasting failure and random movement of the player's character, and also reduced ability to give commands to the player's character. Dim, on the other hand, causes reduced accuracy, reduced evade, and an increased chance of receiving critical attacks.
    Body weight of 100kg and above no longer grants immunity to spider webs.
    The portion of body weight that depends on height has a minimum of 0. Characters with 0 weight now no longer gains weight when eating. Cursed Slow potions and that soup item will still have an effect.

All of these can be harvested from unknown seeds. They also have a low chance of getting randomly generated. If harvested, they will gain a +enchant value from Gardening skill or from the fertilizer bonus.

    tea leaf
        Will be used in item fusion to craft black tea or green tea in the future.
    coffee beans
        When used in item fusion, yields 4 x cups of coffees that are all guaranteed to be blessed and inherit the +enchant value of the coffee beans. The +enchant value increases its sell value. You can use this to roleplay coffeshop.
    rice
        When used in item fusion, yields 10 x rice balls that are unblessed but inherit the +enchant value of the rice. It's an early game food that will not train attributes, but the +enchant value will recover SP.
    bannou mugi
        (NB: multi-purpose wheat)
        When used in item fusion, yields 2 x bottles of beer and 2 x bottles of whiskey, all of which are guaranteed to be blessed, as well as 2 x sacks of flour and 2 x raw noodles that are unblessed but inherit the +enchant value of the bannou mugi.

[New special actions]

    Shield Parry
        Learned upon level up if Shield skill is 35 or above and shield bash feat has been acquired.
        Applies a buff of the same name to all allies in sight who have a shield equipped in a hand when used.
        Will give a (DV total of shields equipped in hands + 5, does not include tonfas/claws)% chance of evading physical attacks. Is calculated separately from the normal evasion. This % chance has a minimum of 0, and maximum of 15. (This means that the lighter shields are better than heavy shields in this respect, and there will be no need to use multiple shields as 1 will suffice.)
        If a melee attack is evaded with the above calculation or with a regular evade/greater evasion while the buff is active, 2 turns of Invert status ailment (NB: "stagger") will be applied to the attacker.
        (Remote attacking opponents will be Inverted, but ranged attackers will not and will only be evaded.)
        Physical damage on characters affected by Invert will be multiplied by 1.75 times.
        High DV shield-wielding characters can now be damage support.

    Golden Storm
        Learned upon level up if Investing skill is 50 or above. (Is a 'W'ide special action.)
        An attack that tosses 200gp at each enemy in sight. Tosses up to 10 times. Gold pieces cannot be retrieved.
        Gold amount cannot be adjusted because that would make balancing this special action difficult. Too bad, really.
        Damage depends on Investing and Throwing skill levels. This really is a spike damage special action for Throwing characters.
        Damage is reduced by target's PV, armour skill, and Dexterity. Won't work well against opponents that have a lot of defence.
        Yacatect will use this for both of her forms when her health is down to 50% or less, with the probability of her using it depending on the amount of gold [that she has].
        More literal bang for your bucks.

    Rocket Fire
        Same effect as the panzerfaust X item, except damage is reduced by the target's PV, DV, Constitution, and armour skill. If gauge is insufficient, it turns into a regular ranged attack.

    Nuclear Fire
        Same effect as the atomic launcher item, except damage is reduced by the target's PV, DV, Constitution, and armour skill. If gauge is insufficient, it turns into a regular ranged attack.

[New gauge attack]

    GHAND
        (NB: expends 100% gauge.)
        Power depends on the average value of Will and Magic. Has no effect other than damage, but damage is easy to scale up.
        Hand-type special action -> (Resolution Hand if you have it) (NB: it actually says "Palm of Derangement" here? Typo?) -> GHAND would be how attacks are usually chained, but if the Blue Spirit is equipped, only GHAND will be used after selecting the hand-type special action. This increases damage dealt and also allows you to attack distant enemies.

[Seasoning for prepping food]

    Any of the seasoning items will increase corpse quality by +1. It uses the same variable as the counter for rubbing livestock on the ranch, so the number of seasoning items used on them is the number of times you won't have to rub them. There might not be a point in doing that though.
    All of them will deal a large amount of damage to snail race characters.

    hanabi
        A purely aesthetic item that is rarely randomly generated. One is guaranteed to be at the Ludus summer festival.

        This is for the people who had work or are forever alone and couldn't go to a fireworks display - enjoy the fireworks in Irva with your pets, at least?

        Unique scythe artifact. Using it causes undead to fuse. Music tickets can be exchanged for it in Act II.

[Undead fusion]

    Use the Necromantis, select the type of fusion desired, expend 25% gauge, and the undead gets summoned.
    Undead that were subject to fusion will become coffins with 1 hour cooldown.
    The various Necro Force powers will have an effect, but the [fused undead] cannot be put into a coffin.
    Fused undead cannot leave the map they are created in, so it's a good idea to use them only when fighting a strong enemy.
    Undeadgod race NPCs have high attributes and have no weakness to fire so they should prove useful. Remember that they don't have the usual resistance bonuses that undead have though.

    Smile Field

        If there are no enemies around that use physical attacks then it may be worth using it even if enemies are in sight.
        It makes enemies proc criticals more often so it works well in combination with Emergency Evasion.

    If a pet is at Friend status or above, the player has Action points remaining, and Happiness is not at max, then the [evochat] option will appear in the conversation window.
        When that option is selected, the ambient SFXs like the chattering in town will temporarily be turned off.

        [With the buff,] Touch of Weakness, Touch of Hunger, Touch of Poison, Touch of Nerve, Touch of Fear, and Touch of Sleep will now deal damage to the target, with amount of damage depending on Alchemy skill and Magic attribute. Damage is reduced by the target's Constitution.
        If the target's health is determined to be less than 1/8 of maximum (this does not include the farmer's bonus), then it will invoke something similar to decapitation and deal lethal damage and give the user a small amount of a random material. Targets on a sandbag do not yield materials.

    The spells are basically the same as skills. However, they don't recover much potential when bonus points are spent on them because potential will recover if you do nothing anyway. It's also because not much potential is recovered at high potential. You would probably want to use this to bring spell levels to the point where they are just about to level up before attending magic practice.

    Change attack to arrow magic
        For when you want to make pets with melee/ranged AI attack with only spells instead. (And also if you like dart-type spells.)

Maybe not the correct place for this question, but I hope you will forgive me.

I am trying to add custom portraits to ElonaPlus, with an 80x112px bmp format, but ElonaPlus does not seem to like it at all... it crashes every time. I am following the format and directory locations that are described for adding custom portraits to Elona (non Plus version)... is there something that I am missing?

Increased the base price of items created from wood craft and stone craft item fusion recipes. Carpentry and Jeweler skills modifier on item quality has been adjusted so that they make it easier to craft better items. Livestock can now be milked by using Squeeze special action on them.

Milking has the same cooldown as Rubbing them with a brush.
However, livestocks' Life will be halved every time they are milked.
Attempting to milk livestock with less than 2 Life will kill them.
Livestock will still spawn milk on the ranch even when their Life has been lowered, so you can choose whether you want to milk them all you can then let them live or turn them into pieces of meat afterwards.

[Changes and additions]
Added a bit of Act III main quest content.
When the informer NPC has been informed of your birthday and that day is today, a birthday event will occur when changing maps. (It will only occur once a year.) It's nothing much, so please don't be too eager to see it.
Added a tutorial facility and 6 new NPCs a short distance south of Vernis. This is to guide players through the early game where it is easy to mess up. It will appear after a diastrophism if you're using a save from a previous version. This is oriented towards totally new players. If beginners find themselves getting stuck in the game even after following the hints given, then I might want to add more tutorial content or change game balance.
Changed the chicken NPC's sprite because it's the year of the rooster. Also made a different sprite for female chickens.
Placed a new unique NPC at the South Tyris north border.
Added 2 new spirit NPCs and evolution patterns.
2 new red books. Placed one of them permanently on a map.
Livestock can now be milked by using Squeeze special action on them.
Milk obtained this way will have an +enhance value on them that depends on how much they were brushed and the player's Dexterity.
Milk sells for the same amount for all monsters, so with some Rubbing you could have a dairy farm even on a ranch with low level monsters.
To make PV less important and accuracy less unimportant, DV now has 1.75 times the effect on evasion compared to previous versions.
Nerfed Violent Garden - its bind has been reduced to 1 turn.
Some random Nefia will now be generated with their danger level dependent on the lowest floor cleared plus the level modifier of the respective areas.

[NPCs on this map] will resurrect naturally with time and map will refresh periodically. The Classroom map accessible from here will refresh whenever you enter it. The courses overlap in content, but another way of looking at it is that there is continuity across the courses.

Level 6 norland. Not randomly generated. Uses Dark eye, as well as Heal Light on low health.

Level 55 karune. Drain Blood, Squeeze, Draw Shadow.

Level 65 juere. Uses Shadow Step and Gravity Accel.

[New evolutions]
Chaos spirit evolves into chaos sprout with evolution heart. Male and female sprites differ.
Using a god heart on chaos sprout will then make it evolve into chaos plant and learn Extermination Breath.
[Birthday event]
Up to 16 NPCs out of all the pet and non-pet NPCs on the current map will now be selected (pets will have priority) and they will celebrate your birthday.
They will celebrate it even if they were out of sight, have low impress, or are hostile, but not if they are asleep, unconscious, or have 0 Attract.
Lines spoken by them will be affected by their respective styles of speech.
The number of NPCs there and the options [you pick] will determine whether they will cheer and applaud.
The worst thing that can happen is that there is no one on the current map. In that case, the wish goddess will celebrate your birthday.
A blessed present will be generated at your feet when the event ends.
[Milking livestock]
The +enhance value of milk produced by livestock will be higher if they are good at producing milk. Being inept at producing milk will have no effect on the resulting +enhance value.
Milking has the same cooldown as Rubbing them with a brush. However, livestocks' Life will be halved every time they are milked.
Attempting to milk livestock with less than 2 Life will kill them. Livestock will still spawn milk on the ranch even when their Life has been lowered, so you can choose whether you want to milk them all you can then let them live or turn them into pieces of meat afterwards.

Made categories of instruments produce different "♪" [speech bubbles]. Some of them were kind of hard to illustrate as text, so these might change in the future.
Performing and harvesting quests will now automatically end if you leave the map. (The quests will be cleared if you meet the quotas.) Added an exit for the Party Time! map at the bottom.
Changed appearance rates and added more unique NPCs to the list that will appear in Party Time!. There is now a difference between North and South Tyris in terms of the NPCs that will appear, and people who shouldn't be together will no longer appear at the same location.
Greatly increased the chance of satisfying the audience when Fascination Dance succeeds.
Preaching special action will now please the audience and award points.
When characters with the spell multi-casting bit flag defeat an enemy with dart-type spells, they will no longer immediately search for the next target and shoot the remaining dart spells at it.
Disturbance special action no longer activates when used on a target that does not use gauge attacks. The animation has also been sped up, and the log will describe who used Disturbance on which target.
Made some South Tyris towns have more/less of certain types of quests.

Pets being ridden will now have their HP bar colour change when they are not hungry.
Rod of alchemy and energy crystal of matrix no longer work on items marked as important.
When NPCs attempt to use Shadow Step, Run Wildly, ZinlaiKyaku, or Clash Rush on a target out of sight, it will now become a regular movement instead of attack.
Changed the colour of some wall tiles in the Act III main dungeon.
The log now displays if bomb rocks are idling or in combat, so keep an eye on it. Cluster bomb rock also no longer uses Draw Shadow, and will approach its target with regular movement. As such, they are no longer something that you have to prepare for in advance and are now quite avoidable.
Eye of brainwashing special action now has a visual effect only when the target fails to resist. If the target is the player, the attribute used to resist is now Will instead of Charisma. If the target is an NPC, (Impress + player's Charisma) will be rolled against (50 + attacker's Charisma) to resist.
There is a feature in vanilla Elona where breath attacks do not work on tiles outside a radius centred on the player. This means that all breath attacks outside used to be just a wasted [turn]. This has been changed so that breath attacks will work outside that radius.
The equipment that NPCs spawn with and rare drops that have a 1/100 chance of getting generated or less now have 5-20 times the rate of getting generated. However, there is a trigger that decides if they will get generated, and this has a 1/4 chance of being turned on at the start of each day. Once [a rare piece of artifact equipment or rare drop] spawns, this trigger is turned off. These items will never drop/spawn when the trigger is off.
<Oti-Tubaki>, <Hero's cloak>, plank of Carneades, and <Nightmare> will now get randomly generated. They are unaffected by the aforementioned trigger.
The <Stradivarius> is now available for purchase with music tickets.

Fixed the log not describing who used a breath attack for breath attacks used within sight.
Fixed an NPC added in 1.65 not being marked as unique, causing it to get randomly generated and not speak its unique NPC lines. If this NPC is already generated in a save file from a previous version, the game will automatically mark it as unique when you enter the border map.
Fixed the deck image of an NPC added in 1.65 (not the aforementioned).
