Just wondering if anyone knows of any good tile-based roguelike games. If possible I'd like to find a game like ElonaRPG http://homepage3.nifty.com/rfish/index_e.html (just in case anyone hasn't played it there's a free download link there) but it's been out of construction for some years now. Big thanks in advance to any who throw suggestions at me.

I'd suggest ToME 4.
Also, LambdaRogue. ;)
Ah, and the commercial Dungeons of Dredmor.

Cardinal Quest and Powder too.

I can't really help but suggest Epilogue.
DCSS (Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup) is probably my favorite, along with Tome4 in terms of the big ones.
There is also Infra Arcana which is somewhere between tiles and ascii.
Tome4 has some similarities to Elona in terms of the world being the same every time, but on the other hand Powder is more similar in terms of Nethackiness. Elona is quite unique so it'll be difficult to find another game quite like it.

Wow, so many answers so quickly. Thank you all very much! Also i have epilogue and I do enjoy it. i also bought dungeons of dreadmore a while back and enjoy that one off and on when i get the whim to play it.
I'm currently checking out UnReal RPG and looking up all the suggestions.

Particularly relevant perhaps since the project's goals essentially now entail taking much of the cues from the now splitting into different variants, with most being in Japanese, Elona offshoots.
