...it was a budget game for windows years ago, and was quite roguelikeish. It was quite enjoyable from what I remember but i'm sure it will have aged terribly.
I remember that each time you'd play it would generate a new mission based on one of a dozen different scenarios, but it would use different map pieces and stuff to make it slightly different.
a similar technique could be used to make a nice coffee-break roguelike for mobile devices... any takers? :¬)

There were a few of these coffee break adventures out there. For Star Wars and Indiana Jones as I recall.
They were a fun distraction. Basically just some very simple puzzle solving, combat and exploration.

I remember this, great fun for the days I've know nothing of roguelikes. Had only demo, but that was random enough.
