The spam was getting a bit annoying. But I think we'll have ourselves a nice and clean and presentable forum from now on! (... and if we don't, I recommend adding more mods, I've gotten used to thinking of forums with visible spam on them as next to abandoned)
-
Well.....this is surprising! Thanks to all and I'll do what I can to keep the spam at bay. Granted, I've never done anything like this before, but still.
Sorry I haven't been posting as much as I should've, thing keep coming up, smashed with stress, etc....plenty of bits to mention that people got up to back in ARRP 2011 up until now that seem to be flying under the radar, or at least they forgot or didn't think to mention things here per se.

I approve of this. I cannot help myself but to respond to the spammers. Getter will help me not to...
Hey Getter I'm making you a character class in my soon-to-be-probably-never-released-actionRL... Sorry I couldn't include you in anything but my talkie vaporware. You deserve better!!!

So...on the "not obvious" front----how do I actually ban a spam account? I had expected some sort of prompt option along with "Delete this message" but nothing jumped out at me? Didn't seem to be any relevant buttons in the user profile for the offender either...
On the positive side, it looks like the little e-mail alert thing is working well as I got the summons! :D
-
Hey man, pay attention to my reports because I always report spamthings when I find'em!
-
Yep and such is appreciated. I will always click the little direct link the summon email contains and take a look.
