hey there everyone!
i was wondering if anybody could give me some examples of rougelike games that aren't Hack and slash - when i say this i am describing games like Dwarf Fortress 2 and UnReal world.
if there is already a post about this, please forgive me, i couldn't really think what to type in the search box

Hmm I dont play any, let me dismember my oponents at my leisure I say (or at a furious pace, either or ...).
Unless of course futuristic games count, however they would be more Blast and Slash. Also a lot of 7drls are not H&S'ers but are not really going to turn you life around either.
IMO if it is not hack and slash its not a roguelike (flame war not intended) Of course DF advanture mode is definately a RL. If you find some good ones let me know.
