Um, you know, I love making tiles ::)
Edit:
Well, here are some examples of my misguided, heretical and vile arts. It's been some time but now I have a decent chunk of critters to show:
http://ilovemakingtiles.blogspot.com/ (http://ilovemakingtiles.blogspot.com/)
You'll see sprites for two projects from this very forum and some odds and ends for an outside project.
-
If you are offering your services, heretic, it would be prudent to offer examples of your profane craft that other blasphemers like yourself might have misguided faith in your vile skill.
-
Oh man. It had been a long time since I felt so flattered. I'll link some material in soon.
-
Bumping for OP edit and, in truth, shameless self-promotion ;D ;D ;D
-
Nicely done, hoping to see releases of all projects continue into the future with art in tow.
-
Yes!
I have a TON more of ITD++ material, and another ton for FFHtR, but I won't be posting the ITD++ material until I reach certain milestones ...and anyways, it would be cool if 73h0n made a release sooner than that... he told me he's waiting for some music development.
Bosses in ITD++ are going to be 64x64 pixels, four tiles. I've been playing a "current" version of ITD++ and the walking animations look nice, when everything has attack animations it's going to be even better.
The other FFHtR material is mostly scenery, which you can only truly appreciate when you're playing in it. But I have poured hours and hours on top of hours in making FFHtR scenery, I'm aching for when the next release comes out and I can play with all the graphics in place, new features and everything.

You definitely love making tiles, and making them being loved by other people!
I'll probably release the game here sometime next month but the full release will be on Annual Roguelike Release Day - 18th September (if I got it right).
Ofcourse if the game will receive enough attention I will continue improving it. Otherwise I'll be making another project, I feel like making a strategy game (something like X-Com or Commandos). It will probably be isometric 2D so if Psiweapon loves to make isometric tiles... ;)
-
Blog update with ITD++ full Orcs and Skeletons spritesheet.
I haven't ever made isometric tiles, but taking into account that I love X-COM, I'd love to do something similar too.
-
Good stuff, I like those!
-
Yeah! Psiweapon tiles looks great in motion!
And I am hereticaly delaying realize for a month at least! :-[
As I write to psiweapon beforehand, If we would realize FFFtR without any gameplay changes, but with new art only, it would worth it. :D

If you set Align to Pixel Grid for this rectangle, Illustrator will "fix" the problem by shifting the path.
