Ladies (?) and gentlemen,
I finally doing the server transition; please post in this thread if you see something unusual.
I hope everything works ok :)

I can't see other avatars than yours.
-
Looks like they did not come across. Also I can not upload one.
The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.

I got the same message, fortunately you can still append a linked image so I took advantage of photobucket for the first time in a while. Not really hot on the stretch factor but meh... C'est la vie.

Fixed, thank you!

Hi,
Sent (I think) a private message but my outbox is still empty, is that the expected behavior or did I screw up somewhere (and should send it again)?
Thanks
- Luka

I think thats usual behavior. Have you checked "save a copy of outgoing messages in my outbox" check box thats in profile options?

There is a JeffLait (http://roguetemple.com/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=6657) member on this forum, it says that he has 18 posts, but "Show the last posts of this person." does not show anything, and I don't remember anything. Anyone can explain that?
BTW the memberlist looks a bit sad with all these spambots.
-
Some posts are in hidden super-secret forums...
-
I haven't been able to find the hole spambots are using to override the several captcha measures I have tries to install, they keep registering by the millions ...

I've been having issues when trying to read threads. I keep getting the google "oops" page, or "web page is not available" page. It doesn't happen every time but seems to be happening fairly frequently. Doesn't seem to be any specific threads either.
Just started today as far as I can tell.
***edit***
It actually just happened when I first tried to post this message

The following page has gotten hijacked
http://www.roguetemple.com/2011/12/27/ascii-dreams-roguelike-of-the-year-2011-winners/
at least on my internet - edit: but it works fine when I'm logged in to the forums. - and now it's seemingly not hijacked anymore, or maybe it's some malware on my pc. i dunnoo this does seem hijacked but the error is on google end wtf? (http://www.google.dk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=5&sqi=2&ved=0CEoQFjAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.roguetemple.com%2F2011%2F12%2F27%2Fascii-dreams-roguelike-of-the-year-2011-winners%2F&ei=9WnTULXoFY3jtQbc-IGYDw&usg=AFQjCNE0DTHwkMkKkVITOMeys1oP2BuSrA&sig2=Tu61zJI9l7lw3-KW5jdtXw&bvm=bv.1355534169,d.Yms&cad=rja)
also the forum is pretty slow this evening.

Glad to see you got the forum fixed.

Option for restore forgotten password is not working. No any answers to email (spam folder is empty too)
-
This is fixed now
-
Confirmed.
Thanks.

The old front page where ancient does reviews and you make announcements still exists, but the 'forum' button doesn't link here. Is that still supposed to be the front page? It's what pops up when you google Temple of the Roguelike.
-
When clicking on "Show new replies to your posts" I'm repeatedly getting this:
Database Error
Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.

Some of older forum links seem to be misconfigured. For instance, the one in my signature. The link (http://roguetemple.com/forums/index.php?topic=1915.0) redirects to https://blog.roguetemple.com/forums/?topic=1915.0, which gets HTTP 404.

Sadly I think this is an issue with the previous migration to http://forums.roguetemple.com
However... I think I can still try to fix it in the redirection set up. Thanks for the heads up!

When you try to log in via the little bars at the top(not going to the actual login page) it will respond by saying there was an error in something unrelated.
Hang on, let me just log in again to see what it said. Here we go:
"Your session timed out while posting. Please go back and try again."

Can confirm, but funny thing that I didn't even think to login from the login page, thanks for reminding about it.
-
I think one issue is that there are no admins/moderators to answer in these questions related to forum. I can get it I guess, you have real life etc. but there should be some kind of people to fill in.

Why do almost all computers warn about this web site? My Mac Mini doesn't allow me to enter this page, or my workplace computer (which has Windows 7 Pro). Only my PC doesn't care, it's Windows 10 Home. Mac says this page can steal personal information.
ps. I forgot there was a topic for this..
