Hey, I'm new and I may be the most amazing person ever.
Anyway, I'm fairly new to roguelikes. I do really like them, and the one I've played the most is IVAN. It is, in short, epic. I've played dungeon crawl, Adom, tome, moria, rogue survivor and probably others I've forgotten.
Having played IVAN to death I'm looking for any new roguelike to play! :D
I prefer tile graphics, as ASCII is just bad really ^^;
Character customisation is always a big plus to me, in terms of unique classes and races.
Plus, the more random and memorable the game is the better. Any ideas?

ToME 4(A different beast than the older tome games), MageCrawl, LambdaRogue, Lost Labyrinth, Sewerjacks, Triangle Wizard(Not quite graphical, but not quite ASCII either---I can't deal with ASCII but this game somehow works very well and in jam packed), Prospector, Dungeonmans is swell/epic though I hope dev continues as it was early yet....past these my head blurs on things hitting most notes....GearHead 1 and 2 maybe...

You mentioned dungeon crawl, and you are new to roguelikes, does this mean you have not played it much? If not, play it more, it has the most varied play styles, and has tiles. The game is epic! Of course it is one of the hardest but most rewarding.

Agreed, if you haven't played through much of Crawl I suggest you keep trying.
Also, check out the Din's Curse demo, its not a free game, but it is the most action packed ARPG I've ever played (don't worry, its a roguelike also).
