* All new religion system where you use earned piety for specific upgrades.
* Streamlined interface totally still lets you do all that math if you want to. You’ll wonder how you ever played it before.
* 100% gold custom tileset by indie king-maker and all around super nice guy, Derek Yu! (Spelunky, TIGSource)
* All your old character files will work just fine, but it’s more fun to start from scratch again. Trust us.
* Tweaks: F2 doubles the window, F4 fullscreens, ESC no longer insta-closes and there’s even arrow-key navigation if you’re that way inclined.
* Fresh high score lists on which to min-max freely (We may even have balanced the Vampire)
* Even more content for the super-hardcore endgame players. Seriously, we can’t finish this thing…
Good to see a new release of this after all the issues they had site wise and forum migrating!
Also....I really hope they resurrect and finish this project they got to a prototype stage on!

I have no idea what's going on in those spacehack screens. But it's pretty!

Watch the video clip and all shall be made clear!
Also, from some link checking, it appears the eventual Premium version of Desktop Dungeon will be built by, in a nice trend, Unity3D!

Haha, I agree! I desktop dungeon by qfc is easy on the eye too.

I really love this game! I'm totally addicted to it and probably play it like 3 hours a day! >_<
Just wanted to express my love for this game somewhere. :-)
By the way, the most recent version is 0.15 already and you can always get the most up-to-date version by using this link: http://www.qcfdesign.com/?cat=20

The graphics are by the guy who made Spelunky, so it's no wonder.
Also...
Windows only
Fenrir rolls his eyes.
I hope this works under WINE.

If you wanna play games you should get Windows. :p
The game was made with Game Maker, so I guess it will run on WINE if other game maker games also run on WINE.
The developers are currently working on recoding the game without game maker. They do it because it's easily to cheat in a game maker game using the game maker game debugger. If the game will then also be available for other operating systems, depends on how they remake it, I guess.

The new commercial edition is being built using Unity and is a massive, expanded overhaul of the original in every aspect. Part of that is also the bizarre "clone" situation on the iPhone that they had to deal with via some guy's shenanigans---all pretty much laid out on their main site/blog.
